Bronze with verdegris finish bookends with natural stone base. Signature not found. Possibly Nuart Le' Pierot. Measures approx. 8"H x 4-1/4"W at base. Highly decorative, this antique brass and alabaster cash register was manufactured by the National Cash Register Co., Dayton Ohio, for Mr. J. G. Keffel, Clinton N.Y. Sold by the L.P. Bishop, Utica, N.Y. Not in working condition; however, when the buttons are pushed, the register displays the amount according to the button and makes the distinctive cash register sound. The cash drawer is removable, and bears all the maker's information. Overall measures approx. 21" x 9" x 16".
