306. A Set of Ten Chippendale Style Chairs, ca. late 19th/larly 20th Century Mahogany chairs in the style of Chippendale. Gothic carved, interlaced splat with quatrefoil. Top rail suggests a "Cupid's Bow", however with a more rounded appearance and some carving. Stiles are tapered at the top with raised craved edges. Straight legs with a recessed front stretcher, back legs with stretcher and extend outward with the curve of the back rest. Lot includes eight (8) side chairs and two (2) arm chairs. 307. Federal Carved Sofa, New York, ca. 1820 Elegant carved sofa with eagle head arms, reeding and crouching eagle claw feet, on castors. Crest rail in three sections with reed work and soft scroll on back. Fine fabric in an amethyst/blue with pattern and two roll cushions.
