| 300. Ann Froman (American, Contemporary)
"Meriam". Bronze sculpture with granite base. Measures approx. 27" x 17". Ann Froman was born in New York and studied at the National Academy of Fine Arts, the Fashion Institute of Technology and the Fountainbleu School of Fine Art in France. She studied architecture with Le Corbusier and painting with Henri Goetz. She took her first course in sculpture at the New School for Social Research, and with just six months of sculpting experience, showed at a local exhibit where she sold every piece. Twenty years later, Froman's work can be seen all over America, from Radcliffe College to Brooklyn College, Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas to private homes in Dutchess County, Time-Warner to the Culinary Institute of America.
