Image measures approx. 12" x 10"; framed overall approx. 15" x 13". Allen Dean Cochran was born in Cincinnati, Ohio and received his art training from two notable members of the National Academy: Kenyon Cox of Ohio and Birge Harrison of Woodstock. Later in life Cochran moved from Ohio to Woodstock where he became a member of the Woodstock Artists Association. He exhibited with that group and at the National Academy, Corcoran Gallery of Art, Art Institute of Chicago, and Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art. He was also a member of the Salmagundi Club.
