| 785. Cambridge Art Pottery Vase, ca. 1895-1920
Oblong vase with slightly flared opening features yellow flower with green foliage over black background. The vase is initialed "M. W." by the maker. Measures approx. 9"T. The Cambridge Art Pottery Company originated in 1900 in Cambridge, Ohio. In 1909 it changed its name to the Guernsey Earthenware Company and began adding cookware pieces and hotel china to its offerings. With a few variations of its name, it lasted until 1925, when it was purchased by the Globe China Company.
