| 145. Aram Koupetzian (Russian/Armenian, born 1928)
"Violins." Oil on canvas, signed on the lower left corner, framed in a smooth wood frame with some bronze stain. Image measures approx. framed overall approx. 20" x 20". Aram Koupetzian was born in 1928 in the city of Budenovsk, Russia. In 1946 he entered the graphic arts program at the Moscow Institute of Pedagogy. In 1952 he received a Master's degree from the Arts Academy of the USSR. He continued on to work as a arts editor of the "Soviet Artist" magazine. His favorite style to work in is called synthetic cubism, a sort of mixed media work. 650/750 Sold $776.25 back to catalog |
