Maria Lazareva was born in 1979 in Saint-Petersburg, Russia. In 1994 she entered the Art College of Saint-Petersburg named after Roerich, and during a few years worked in different art workshops. In 1998 continued her education at the St. Petersburg State Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture named after I. Repin, Department of Painting. She studied at the classes of V.V.Sokolov. She participated in all union exhibitions of paintings by young artists of the Academy, the group exhibition Art-Index. Artists of Saint-Petersburg04 in November 2004. Her work was in an exhibition on Christmas Charity Festival in December 2004 in Saint-Petersburg. Lazareva is talented and young artist. Her works are in the collection of the Academy of Fine Arts ( St. Petersburg ), in museums and private collections of Norway, France, USA, Finland, China, Russia.
