Carved with a Roman style tonsure, with extended arms and flowing robes, raised over a carved base with scrolling foliage and a bead and reel motif. Evidence of pigment over gesso. Approx. 22-1/4"T. Tags on bottom of base and figure. Provenance: The Mr. & Mrs. Lester Andelson Collection Exhibition: The Allen Memorial Art Museum, Oberlin College, February 9, 1981.
