695. Sheffield Fish Servers, ca. 1880-1881
The very fine example of traditional old English fish servers in their original mahogany box, decorated with an original metal escutcheon. Bright cut blades are in Acanthus leaf pattern. Silversmith's hallmarks are on the handles. The aged ivory/bone handles add interest and value to the set. The fork measures approx. 10"L and the knife approx. 13-1/4"L.

Silverplated interchangeable candelabrum fitted for up to five candles, and can be reassembled into a candlestick. The candelabrum features an overall floral repousse design. Bottom marked "Sheffield Silver Co/ made in U.S.A." Overall measures approx. 19" tall by approx. 13-1/2" wide. The silverplated plateau features a mirror glass top surface; rests on three scrolled feet; sides of the plateau are decorated with a design of garlands and ribbons; measures approx. 3"tall x 15" wide.
