758. Fine Hand-painted German Ludwigsburg Porcelain Vase
The vase is of bulbous body with a tall slender neck with flared opening and a pair of figurative scroll shape handles. Pale yellow background decorated with floral springs, dark Royal blue and gilt accents. Two pentagonal cartouches depict birds sitting on gilt tree branches with green foliage, all over a Royal blue background. Bottom of the vase depicts a blue under-glaze Ludwigsburg Porcelain Mark. This vase measures approx. 7-1/2"T x 5"W.

761. Two Chinese Export Cheroot Trays, ca. 18th/19th Century
A lot of two Chinese Export porcelain cheroot trays. Glazed white porcelain with hand painted decorations on each. First tray has a comemorative rococo coat of arms with initials in the center, a gilt ornate border surrounding and a foliate border on the outer rim, overall 9" x 6-3/4" x 1-1/4" high, with two firing flaws on the front face. The second is of similar decoration, with a painting of a monk in the center holding a sprig and a book with a banner above him reading "CAUSEAUSEDEBIT", 8" x 6" x 1-1/2" high.

Upward tapering body with a dark green glaze background; the vase presents three different transferware landscape scenes, enclosed with handpainted gilt borders. Bottom is marked with the maker's insignia and has adhered green protectors. Measures approx. 11"T. Two-handle footed jardiniere features the same glaze and landscape transfer decoration enclosed in gilt cartouche. Bottom features the same marks as the vase. Overall this jardiniere measures approx. 4"T x 11"L x 7"W.

Beautiful hand-painted plate with a "Cleopatra" scene, signed by the artist. The rim of the plate is in pastel colors accented with raised gilt decorations including dark red cartouches with urns and floral sprays. Over glaze beehive and Germany mark, and the title of the scene. The plate measures approx. 6-3/8" in diameter.

Fine porcelain demitasse set of eleven cups and saucers, and an extra cup; all decorated with gilt bands accented with red dots. Saucers have a ruffled edge. All the cups and saucers are marked "Copeland China England" in green pigment, and "Spaulding & Co, Chicago & Paris". The cups measure approx. 1-3/4" x 2-1/2", and the saucers are approx. 4" in diameter.

Very nice and decorative pair of Capodimonte heraldic plates. The center of each plate depicts a coat-of-arms of various Italian city-states, enclosed by gilt rocaille scrolls and scattered flowers, borders feature raised relief scenes all hand decorated with gilt. Bottom marked with the under-glaze blue Capodimonte insignia. Both plates measure approx. 10" in diameter.
