800. Sitzendorf Porcelain Figurine
An amusing Sitzendorf Porcelain figurine in a tray, in the image of a man in a pointed hat playing a mandolin and singing as he strides along, ca. 1925-30. The man wears a light green frock coat and has green stripes on his trousers. Hand painted white porcelain, 5" H x 5" W x 3-1/4" D. Impressed markings on bottom are "Germany", "28420." and a crown-shaped maker's mark. The initials of the decorator are painted in red on the bottom as well.
