740. KPM Style German Hand-painted Porcelain Plaque, ca. late 19th Century
Hand-painted porcelain wall plaque. Plaque depicts a young lady in a formal dress; most probably after an original portrait. Painting is very fine and depiction is executed in near photorealistic details. No marks found. Measures approx. 7" x 4". Plaque is set into highly ornate hand-carved wood and gold leafed frame. With frame, entire item measures approx. 16" x 11".

"Cloris", a polychromed Aesthetic Movement charger, in two pieces. Modeled after a poem by Sir Charles Sedley. Charger made by Minton, stamped on verso, painted by the design house of Cottier, signed on the back. Consigned to this auction damaged, but worthy of restoration. Approx. 15-1/4" diameter.

747. German Lithopane Stein
A porcelain stein with a cast pewter hinged lid; with transfer printed multicolor pictorial decoration and some hand painted details; marked "Made in Germany" on the bottom in gilt. The theme of the decoration is maritime, and the lithopane bottom of the interior depicts a young woman and her sailor. She is holding a handkerchief up to her eyes and she bids her beau goodbye. 11" overall height, base is 4" in diameter.
