German Lithopane Stein A porcelain stein with a cast pewter hinged lid; with transfer printed multicolor pictorial decoration and some hand painted details; marked "Made in Germany" on the bottom in gilt. The theme of the decoration is maritime, and the lithopane bottom of the interior depicts a young woman and her sailor.
