"The Man By The Aid of His Aeroplane, Overcomes the Attraction of the Earth". Cast bronze with brown patina, mounted on a marble base, overall 9"T x 9"D x 9"W. A man is shown climbing onto a winged horse while the features of a woman emerging from a globe attempt to hold on to the horse's feet. The title is cast into one side of the globe and "Suisse Fes Founders Paris" is cast into the other side along with the circular foundry insignia.

Attributed to the esteemed Bohemian firm of Bernhard Bloch (1836-1909). Seated boy, fishing (without pole), age approx. 10 years old, painted and very life like. Wearing knickers and coat over buttoned shirt, with beautiful smile and dimples. Sits firmly in a chair, originally holding a fishing pole. Stamped with squared mark with Roman numerals and "Paris". Approx. 4 feet tall.
