A carved ivory Netsuke depicting a man and a woman clothed in kimonos engaged in sexual activity. The man's shoulders have been drilled with holes (Himotodhi) to suspend the netsuke from a silken cord. There are some markings in red underneath the woman's pillow. The overall size is 2" wide x 1" deep x 1-1/2" high.

A carved ivory Netsuke of a loving couple clothed in ornate kimonos with pigment rubbed into the incised areas, with a cartouche under the man's kimono, overall size 2-1/2" x 1-1/4" x 1-1/2" H. The woman's back has been drilled with holes (Himotoshi) for suspension on a silken cord.

A carved ivory Netsuke of a man and a woman wearing elaborately embellished kimonos in the act of making love. The surface of the kimonos has been incised and pigments rubbed in the crevices. There is an insignia inscribed under the man's knee. The overall size is 2" x 1-1/4" x 1" H. The man's waist has been drilled with holes (Himotoshi) for suspension on a silken cord.

An unusual two-part ivory carving depicting two men, each carved separately. The men wear ornately decorated happy coats with incised designs and pigments rubbed in. When assembled the entire object is 2" wide x 1-1/2" high x 1-1/4" deep.

Carved ivory netsuke of a seated man cleaning an umbrella. Two belt holes on the back. 18k marked yellow gold hat attached to the man's hat adds interest and value, as well as serves as a possible pendant slider. The hat was probably added later. No marks found on the ivory. Measures approx. 1-1/2"T x 1-1/4"W.

The pair presents vases converted to candelabras by adding ornate brass hardware candleholder inserts. Porcelain bases are decorated in a Satsuma-style design patterns and court scenes. Overall assembled measures approx. 24" tall. The metal fittings can be removed so these can be used as vases.

A Chinese ceramic vase with base and lid, with very ornately embellished enameled surface with figures and geometric designs. The handles of the vase are in the shape of Foo Dogs, and the top of the lid is also a Foo Dog figure with one foot on an orb. There are Chinese characters in the glaze under the lid, also marks on the rim of the base. Approx. 37" high.

Blanc-de-Chine elderly man; one of the Eight Immortals. Glazed porcelain, 9" H. This happy man rests with one hand on his cane and the other lifting a water bottle. He is posed atop a swirling orb of clouds.
