A very nice scene with sunlight sparkling on a rushing mountain stream, with fir trees in the middle distance and snow-capped mountains in the far distance. The snow and the water of the stream are especially nicely painted.

"Portrait of Helen Rich, 1940". Oil on canvas, signed and dated on the base of the column depicted to the left of the composition, framed, 86-1/2" x 40" canvas size, with 5-1/2" wide frame 97-1/2" x 51". A monumental full-length portrait of one of the great society ladies of Palm Beach, Florida, during a very elegant era in that region. The lady is shown at the peak of her charms, decked out in a formal costume. Notably, she does not wear fancy jewelry as a status symbol as one might expect; her presence and beauty transcends any other adornment.

"Copy of a Botticelli", A representation of a fresco by Botticelli. Oil on canvas, made to represent a fresco including the damages, not framed, 51" x 64". Verso with Canton Art Institute tag naming artists and donor, Mr. John Hemming Fry, also inscribed on the frame. Fry studied in St. Louis at Washington University's School of Fine Arts under John H. Fry whom she married in 1891. She was a member of the Nat'l Ass'n of Women Painters & Sculptors; Society of NY Artists. Exh: SFAA, 1890; St Louis Museum, 1892; Paris Salons. A lot of two acrylic paintings on canvas by Leroy Flint. "Vibrating Strings" is an abstract composition from the "OP" Art era; a grey background with chartreuse, blue and orange vertical stripes, all close in value so they have an "optical" effect. The canvas is 26" x 32", signed in the lower right corner, framed in a contemporary strip frame. The second painting is titled "Canyon Series #1" and is an abstract depiction of a canyon in the American West. The canvas is signed in the lower right corner, measures 26" x 32", and is framed in the same strip frame as the other canvas. Both have their titles written on the stretchers on back.
