| 761. Two Chinese Export Cheroot Trays, ca. 18th/19th Century
A lot of two Chinese Export porcelain cheroot trays. Glazed white porcelain with hand painted decorations on each. First tray has a comemorative rococo coat of arms with initials in the center, a gilt ornate border surrounding and a foliate border on the outer rim, overall 9" x 6-3/4" x 1-1/4" high, with two firing flaws on the front face. The second is of similar decoration, with a painting of a monk in the center holding a sprig and a book with a banner above him reading "CAUSEAUSEDEBIT", 8" x 6" x 1-1/2" high. 100/200 Sold $362.25 back to catalog |
