"An Evening Fete". Gouache on board, possibly lightly signed in the lower left, framed in a gilt shadowbox frame under glass, 2" x 3-1/8", with frame overall 5-1/2" x 6-1/2". A charming miniature composition with clusters of people in fancy dress in a forest clearing in the late evening, with a lit castle on a hill in the distance. There is a partial sticker on verso from a Continental gallery.
