| 73. Aram Koupetzian (Russian/Armenian, born 1928)
"Violini." Oil on canvas, signed on the lower right corner, framed in a smooth wood frame with gilt finish. Canvas measures approx. 20" square. framed overall approx. 29" square. Aram Koupetzian was born in 1928 in the city of Budenovsk, Russia. In 1946 he entered the graphic arts program at the Moscow Institute of Pedagogy. In 1952 he received a Master's degree from the Arts Academy of the USSR. He continued on to work as a arts editor of the "Soviet Artist" magazine.
