Earthenware Belgian vase is signed "3853 C.M. Bergen" on verso. Surface of double handled vase is decorated with a pattern of geometric flowers in brilliant shades of blue, yellow, violet and orange. The neck and the base has a matte black glaze. Measures approx. 19-1/2" H x 7-1/2" W.

579. A Johann Maresch Factory Porcelain by August Otto
A polychrome glazed bisque figural made by Johann Maresch factory, by August Ottyo, ca. late 19th Century. The large figural piece which was at one time illuminated by an electric light is in the shape of a corner of a country shed. Inside the shed are a shepherdess and three sheep, beyond which are seen an country landscape. There are holes in the flat back through which a light was inserted so the glow came from under the roof. The piece measures approx. 27"H x 14"W x 8-1/2"D. It is marked underneath by the maker, and the name of the artist inscribed into the side of the mound base.

586. Tressemann Vogt Limoges Porcelain Jardinière, ca. Early 20th Century
A pretty Tressemann Vogt jardiniere with a ceramic frog panel insert for flower arrangement. Slightly concave sides are decorated with hand-painted holly branches over graduated green background. The jardiniere rests on four sculpted gilded scroll feet. Bottom marked with the T&V insignia and a patent date of Dec. 22, 1896. Overall measures approx. 3-1/2" x 9-1/2" x 6-1/2".
