A Modernist-style still life of a vase of flowers, oil on board, signed in the lower right "Z Hecht", framed in a fancy detailed gilt frame with a wine color velvet liner, image size 14-1/2" x 11-1/2", with framing overall 24" x 21". The tall white vase of a multicolored floral bouquet sits on a pretty blue and pink tablecloth, with an aqua background. The shape of the vase was evidently changed by the original artist from a bulbous bottom to a tapered shape, as the silhouette can be seen in the texture of the pigment.
