910. A Large Brass Jardinere
A large heavy brass jardinere from China, in the shape of a double-handled pot with three simple feet, the body incised with swirling dragons in clouds, and with deeply cast Chinese characters around the collar. The two applied handles are cast brass in swirling forms, attached to the body with copper bolts. The jardinere measures 13" in diameter x 7-5/8"H.

Oval mirror with eight section of silvered-backed antiqued glass. Gilt wood construction with composite flower and leaf decoration. Surmounted with a fluted urn with two floral sprigs. Bottom has carved tassels. Beadwork and rosettes separate sections. Approx. 49"T x 27"W.
The interiors of the Scottish architect Robert Adam (1728-1792) became so well known that the term "Adam Style" was coined to describe his distinctive look.

A traditionally styled 20th Century decorative wall mirror, in the early Georgian style, measuring overall 45" x 26", in a medium tone wood with parcel gilt accents, with a swan neck pediment terminating in rosettes at the top, surmounted by a low plinth with a carving of a plume. The base is valanced with scrolled shapes at either side.
