877. A Pair of Decorative Metal Urns by Louis Théophile Hingre (French, 1832-1911)
These slender urns feature a design of tree branches and butterflies. Mounted on green composite bases. Each is stamped "T. Hingre" on the sides. Hingre, a sculptor specializing in metalwork was an animal sculptor of small mice, chickens and birds along with the occassional bull. Each urn with bases measures approx. 9"T.

Elegant wall sconce with a jardiniere. The sconce is modeled with two S scroll mounts and crested with a flower bouquet. Slightly flared edges of the jardiniere are fashioned with a scroll, floral, and basket motifs. The jardiniere is fitted with a liner. Overall measures approx. 23"T x 12"W x 9"D.

880. A Group of Framed Images, ca. Late 19th Century
A group of five miniature portraits in decorative frames. The portraits appear to be photomechanical images with hand-painted accents. The largest one of the group depicts a young lady with her lapdog, signed at the mid right margin, ivory frame with tortoiseshell inlay pattern, bevel and brass oval liner mat; portrait measures approx. 3-3/8" x 2-3/4", overall in the frame approx. 5-3/4" x 4-3/4". The rest of the portraits are done in the similar fashion; please pay close attention to the detail images.

881. A Group of Framed Miniature Portraits of Napoleon and Others, ca. Late 19th Century
A group of five portraits of Napoleon and other gentlemen, hand painted over a printed image on either ivory or celluloid, three of them are illegibly signed by the artist. Three are in carved ivory frames with details piqued in black pigment, and the other two are in carved ivory? frames with inlay bands. All under glass and in fine brass oval mats. The largest ones measure overall with the frame approx. 5-3/4" x 4-3/4" and the smallest ones are approx. 4-3/8" x 4"W.

A miniature oval portrait of Mary set in an inlaid ivory frame with a tiny tortoise brown banding at the outside of the frame, with burgandy flocking on the back. The oval portrait is surrounded by a small gold-tone metal tooled surround and has a convex glazing covering it. The portrait is signed "Laslo" on the right edge.
