A bronze archaistic Chinese wine vessel (Jia), on three tapered splayed legs, with a flaring boat-shaped rim, with one handle that has an animal's face in relief, with other incised designs on the body and Chinese characters on the lip. Measures approx. 7-3/4"H x 3-3/4"D x 6-1/2"W.

An early Persian oil lamp, ca. 9th/10th Century B.C., in cast yellow metal with a dark brown/green finish, with a bird perched on the top of the handle and a smaller one on the top of the hinged lid, with incised decorations on the flaring base and on the flat top of the container, overall 5-1/2"H x 6"W x 2-2/4"D.
