808. A French Provincial Pannatiere
A French Provincial Pannatiere, 33"H to the top of the finials x 35-1/2"W x 18"D. A small livery cupboard, in the Louis XV style, with an open frame with finely turned spindles surmounted by matching finials, with a small central cupboard door with a buttress hinge. It has a molded valanced base curving into turned supports. It is also carved with floral motifs on the front sections and the door. This was made originally either to sit on the floor or on a table, for storing bread and cheese or other foods with ventilation.

An Oak dresser top valet ca. 20th Century, 19"W x 37"H x 9-1/2"D, with two small drawers stacked in the center below the mirror and two deeper drawers on each side, with silver metal hardware, a ribboned wood veneer on the front faces, and a hinged beveled mirror framed in wood above.

813. American Sheraton Style Shaving Stand
An American Sheraton-style shaving stand (or dresser top vanity) in walnut wood, with two drawers, with an oval framed swivel mirror supported by turned posts. The base measures 30"W x 11-1/4"D x 5-1/4"H. With the mirror and posts the overall height is 24". The drawers have a very nice book-matched pattern of veneer and pine secondary woods. The drawers are dovetailed. Part of the charm of this country piece are the alterations that appear to have been made as needed over time.

A handsome carved oak side chair, 46"H x 18-1/2"W, in a medium brown finish, with Celtic style carved decorations of interlaced knots on the skirt, legs and stretchers, and intertwined designs with dolphins on the back and pediment. No marker's marks found.
