A pair of glazed ceramic rabbit mantel figures, in light grey ceramic with polychrome hand painted detailing, each approx. 8"H x 4"D x 8-1/2"W. The pair of lop-eared, long hair rabbits are decorated in cobalt blue patterns and the bases are in green, gold and brown to depict earth and leaves. The finish of the glaze is over an overall craquelure pattern which adds to the visual interest of the surface. These are contemporarily made to resemble Staffordshire mantel figures.

The piece is made in four sections, two of which have been cemented together and two are loosely fit.

The baluster shaped vases are 13"H x approx. 6" in diameter at the widest point.
