590. A Decorative Pair of Glazed Porcelain Plaques and a Cabinet Plate
A handsome decorative pair of glazed molded porcelain plaques, each with its own self-frame and holes behind for hanging on the wall. The images in the center of each are taken from antique engravings, transfer printed in black on the white porcelain. They depict two of the various plights of women, one titled "Hope" with a woman seated near an anchor gesturing towards a ship at sea, and the other titled "Charity" with a woman near a signpost reading "V Miles To London" with two children at her sides and a babe in arms. She extends one hand in supplication. The self-frame borders are also glazed in black. The cabinet plate is a shaped white porcelain with floral designs in relief on the fluted lip. The center of the plate has a transfered design of a pastoral scene with a manor house in black, taken from an old engraving. The plate measures approx. 9" in diameter x 1"H.

591. Lot of Three French Porcelain Boxes
Lot includes three hand painted porcelain boxes. 1) Rectangular baby blue box features a lid design of a peacock and flower blossoms. White interior has blooms in center of lid and bottom. Hinged lid banded by metal with a fleur-de-lis clasp. Measures apprx 1-1/2"H x 4-1/4". Bottom bears a round red stamp that reads "Made in France PBS". 2) Pink oval shaped box features a lid design of a floral bouquet accented with scrolling gilt details. White interior also has gilt designs. Hinged lid with metal banding and leaf clasp. Measures apprx 3"H x 6-1/4"W. Gilt stamp on bottom reads JD France. 3) Round bowl with ormolu mountings features a design of cherubs in the clouds. Some cherubs appear to be playing instruments or brandishing flames. Hinged lid opens to reveal a flower painted on the interior bottom. Sit on tripod feet with a pine cone finial. Measures apprx 5" H x 5"W. Painted images signed, Paul. Bottom bears two blue company stamps.

A lot of three very nice antique British pottery items, comprised of an antique Couldon "Sylvan" cream jug, transfer decorated in cobalt blue on white with gold hand painted accents at the top, of fluted mellon form, approx. 4"H x 3-1/2" diameter, marked on the bottom; a transfer and hand painted cream jug, slightly ovoid in form, of floral decoration a variation of famille rose, approx. 6-1/2"H x 3"W, marked on the bottom T.B. & Co. in a circle and crown hallmark, hand numbered 774 and impressed with "O"; and a small Masons Patent Ironstone biscuit barrel with a metal top rim and hinged handle, with a flat metal lid surmounted by a turned handle, impressed with the number 23, the body hand decorated in cinnabar and cobalt floral motif with gold accents, approx. 4-1/4"H x 3-1/4" in diameter at the widest, three small hand painted markings on the bottom, one in gold, one in cinnabar and one in cobalt.

A collection of four pretty pieces of transferware, consisting of a Copeland vegetable dish with lid in cobalt blue on cream, of irregular rectangular form with fluted edges, 10" x 8-1/2" x 5"H, a Mason's Ironstone milk jug in cobalt blue on cream, 5-1/2"H x 5" x 4" with an octagonal shape, a Spode "Pink Tower" coffee pot with lid decorated in ruby on cream, 8-1/2"H x base 5" x 4-1/2" rectangular balluster shaped, and a stencil decorated Saxony teapot with lid in cobalt blue on white, 7-1/2"H x 4" diameter. All are marked on the bottom.

594. A Small Porcelain Tureen with Lid and Plate
A pretty little tureen with lid on a matching plate, hand painted and transfer decorated white porcelain in flower patterns in shades of rose and aubergine with gilt details. The plate is 8-1/4" in diameter x 1"H and has a beaded irregular rim. The tureen is decorated in the same manner, has two handles and stands on a squat pedestal. the rim is in a fluted relief and the base has a form of egg and dart design in relief. With the lid, the tureen stands 5-1/2"H x 6-1/2" at the widest point.

595. A Set of Limoges Boullion Cups and Saucers, French, Mid 20th Century and a Set of Twelve CA France Depose C. Ahrenfeldt Soup Bowls, French, Mid 20th Century
There are six double-handled boullion cups and twelve saucers. Each depicts a hand painted pattern of gilt swags and pink roses. Marked on bottom of saucers with an underglaze green Limoges mark, and an overglaze Limoges mark. Cups measure approx. 2"T x 3-1/2"W; saucers measure approx. 5-3/8"D. Soup bowls are decorated with raised gilt scroll decorations and hand-painted flower clusters. Each plate signed "Mireille". Bottom of each plate is marked with a green underglaze "CA France Depose" and gilt "C. Ahrenfeldt Limoges pour C. Reizenstein Pittsburgh-Allegheny/ Patented". Each plate measures approx. 7-3/4"D x 1-3/8"T.

596. A Porcelain Tea Service for Eight, Probably French, ca. Early 20th Century and A Limoges Porcelain Serving Platter
This exquisite fine porcelain tea set features a slightly raised lattice pattern and scalloped edges and is hand-decorated with a delicate floral design inside and out. Gilt accents are along the edges. The bottom of most cups is marked "8410" in red pigment. The cups measure approx. 2-1/4"T x 3-3/4"W, the saucers are approx. 6"D x 1"T. The lot also includes a large Limoges serving platter, with similar but not identical transfer design of pale blue flower clusters; bottom marked with a red overglaze mark "M. Redon/ Limoges" and a green underglaze mark "MLR/ France", as well as hand written overglaze mark "7324" in red pigment; the platter measures approx. 13"D x 2"T.
