266. Augustus Saint-Gaudens (American, 1848-1907)
A cast bronze relief plaque commemorating Robert Louis Stevenson, 17-3/4" in diameter, with loops and wire for hanging attached to the back, with the image of the writer seated on cushions in profile above which is the text of his verses in relief, the upper half rimmed by a meandering floral border in relief, below "copyright by Augustus Saint-Gaudens and three small flower blossoms in relief, all finished in a rich brown patina. There are three round screw sockets on the back that may have at one time mounted the piece onto another plaque.

267. Max Kalish (American, 1891-1945)
A white marble bust of a toddler girl, on an oval self base embellished with relief carvings of toddlers in various postures and a scrolling architectural detail in the center, signed in the base "M. Kalish Sc", with a green felt protector glued to the bottom, 10-3/4"H x 10-1/2"W x 4-3/4"D. The subject is reputed to be the daughter of David Deitz, Kalish's friend and benefactor.

A painted plaster bust of David Deitz, in dark brown color pigments over the plaster to resemble bronze, signature incised into the upper part of the pedestal base "M. Kalish 1939", the life-size bust is atop a cube self-base with a plinth below, overall approx. 19-1/2"H x 6"W x 8"D.

269. William Mozart McVey (American, Cleveland, 1905-1998)
A bronze statue of Moses, originally commissioned by a Dr. Medina of Willoughby, Ohio in 1973, the statue cast in one piece, signed in the octagonal base "McVey...1973", with dark brown patina, approx. 37"H. The venerable figure stands with one hand outstretched on a simple base. A letter from the artist and three color slides accompany the lot. Please note: this sculpture is very heavy and will require special care for pick up or delivery.

270. Pierre-Auguste Renoir (French, 1841 - 1919)
"La Danseuse au Tambourin," posthumous edition. Bas relief bronze sculpture of a limited edition of 220 for the public; 99 where made for museums. This is numbered 149/220. In 1918 three terra-cotta reliefs were made by Renoir and his assistant Louis Morel. Of the three, one was never cast in bronze until March of 1984. Four silicon rubber molds were made of the terra-cotta by Bruce Hoheb, formerly of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. He certified that no previous mold had been made and the molds were used to make lost wax bronze castings at an officially authorized foundry. Each casting in the edition with Renoir's signature in the bronze, from the mold, lower right. Approx. 29-3/4"T x 17-1/2", framed approx. 36-3/4" x 25". Comes with supporting documentation from the foundry and certificate of authenticity, signed by Renoir family member M. Claude Renoir.

275. A Daum Glass Sculpture by Daniel Owen Dailey (American b. 1947)
A pale blue pate de verre sculpture of a woman by Daum, 18-3/4"H x 12"W x approx. 7"D. Numbered on the pontil 49/75 with felt bottom. The lady is shown from the torso up with one hand crossed to her side. There is a triangular indentation in the palm of her hand into which a crystal is placed. The finish is matte with the exception of the hair which has a polished sheen. The back of the base is marked "Daum...France" in raised letters, near base it is signed by the artist.
