372. Studio of Samuel Bourne (1834-1912)
A lot of four vintage photographic prints, printed by the studio of Samuel Bourne from his negatives. The images are all landscapes from India, ca. 1865-1875. The first is an untitled forest image (torn at the top) 11" x 9-1/4"; the second titled in pencil on verso "Forest Scene at Runybee", 11-1/8" x 8-3/8", the third is signed in the negative and titled "Larch Chunars at Achabul, Kashmir, 780", 9" x 11-1/8", and the fourth is titled in the negative "The Merbudda From Bungalow at Marble Rocks, Jubbulpore 1638", 8-1/8" x 11-1/2".
