A pair of Indian miniature paintings on abalone shells. The first depicting a finely detailed courtly scene with a royal couple seated in a gazebo receiving visitors while clusters of fantastical animals and birds surround them. The second is a scene of a group of dancers and musicians celebrating in a tented encampment while a donkey and a camel rest in the foreground.
