433. Sterling Silver Creamer & Sugar Made for the Hardy & Hayes Co., Gorham Figural Tongs and a Silver Liner, ca. Late 19th Early 20th Century

Handsome creamer and sugar of baluster form with elegant handles Georgian-style bright cut design; lid on the sugar bowl is decorated with a bone finial; bottom marked "Made Expressly for the Hardy & Haynes Co. Pittsburgh/ Sterling 385" and "Windsor Castle/ Hand Chased" and a hallmark with "HH" monogram within a crescent shape; the measures approx. 4"T x 4"W, sugar bowl approx. 4-1/4"T x 6-5/8"W; total weight approx. 19.9 troy oz. Gorham figural tongs depicting fish and waves and claw-shaped finials; marked "May" on top; marked with Gorham sterling marks; measures approx. 4-3/8"L. Silver-plated liner is included in the lot; measures approx. 10-1/2" x 7-1/2".
