A pair of framed engravings of Chinese scenes, each frame containing two engravings within vertical double opening mats, framed in gilded faux bamboo with mirrored and antiqued reverse printed mats with gilt borders around the mat openings, each image approx. 8" x 11-3/4", with framing overall 27-1/2" x 18". Each plate was drawn by a different (British) artist and engraved by a different (British) engraver and hand embellished with watercolor accents. The titles are "Showroom of a Lantern Merchant at Peking", "Ladies of a Mandarin's Family at Cards", Dinner Party at at Mandarin's House", and "Apartment in a Manderin's House, Near Nanking".
