A New Haven Clockworks Neo-Gothic style shelf clock, with a dark wood veneered case with a door with a circular clear glass panel above showing the clock face, and a reverse painted rectangular glass panel with an applied rose picture at the center in the bottom panel of the door, with smaller discs as a decorative motif below and to the side of the clock face. The face of the clock is painted in Roman numerals and the hands are black. The overall size of the clock measures 17-7/8"H to the top point x 10-5/8"W x 4-1/4"D at the base. The clock is accompanied by three winding keys. The back of the interior of the case is "wallpapered" with information about the clock and maker printed on paper.
