Broad top rail with unusual back splat. The supports of the arms are attached to to the side rails and are of vase form. Straight back legs with some flair, round tapered legs with raised ring decoration. Caned seat, overall painted black, polychromed in colors with slight gilt decoration. Approx. 35"T x 21"W x 21"D. On display in the Pittsburgh PA gallery.
