684. An 18th Century Spanish Talavera Charger
A very good example of an early Talavera earthenware. Deep charger with a ruffled edge. The interior surfaces are glazed in shades of green, yellow-gold, ochre, indigo and manganese brown outlines all over creamy white background. The decoration depicts trees and foliage. This piece measures approx. 14" in diameter and 3" deep.

689. Two Antique Blue & White Delft Chargers, ca. Late 18th/Early 19th Century
A blue and white charger with a ruffled scalloped edge. The charger is decorated with an outdoor scene with people in traditional clothing. Bottom marked with a blue underglaze "I" mark. Metal brace holds the charger together and serves as a display hardware. Overall this charger measures approx. 13" in diameter x 2"T. Second charger has a raised scalloped rim and is decorated in a chinoiserie style; center depicts an outdoor scene with a couple standing in the courtyard; the rim is divided into panels which depict various outdoor scenes and decorations. Foot is pierced with a wire for wall display. Overall this charger measures approx. 13-1/2"in diameter x 3"T.

A fine blue and white Delft charger decorated in the style of Chinese export porcelain. Center medallion of the charger depicts an outdoor scene with a man in the garden, enclosed with a decorative band. Rim is divided into eight panels with floral and other scenes. Each panel is divided with a secondary panels all depicting an individual four-petal flower. back decorated with circle shaped. Overall measures approx. 15-1/4" in diameter x 2-1/2".

A fine Delft charger with slightly raised rim. Center of the charger is decorated with a flower arrangement basket. Rim is decorated with simplified floral and foliage pattern with spiral elements. Overall this charger measures approx. 14" in diameter x 2-1/4". And traditional Delft blue and white plate depicts a vase resting on a table in the center and a flower and geometric pattern on the rim. No maker's marks found. Old staple and other repairs. This plate measures approx. 9" in diameter.
