207. Tiffany & Co. Sterling "Persian" Dinner Service
An extensive service for twelve in the "Persian" pattern, a highly sought after pattern amongst collectors, offered in the original Tiffany & Co. oak box with red dyed chamois interior with gold stamped Tiffany name inside, and including some lift-out trays; lock on box is marked "Tiffany" and comes with original key. Third generation owner, the service is purported to have been little used and was purchased as a wedding gift for the original owners.

A Tiffany & Co. "Olympian" serving ladle. Marked "Tiffany & Co Pat. 1878" and the letter "C". Impressive in size and work, handle features a Roman court view with seated figures, musicians, falcon and instrumenets. Bowl has a wave and scalloped edge. 209. A Silver & Moss Agate Chalice, German, ca. 16th/19th Century
Probably gilt at one time, the silver chalice with a moss agate oval bowl is comprised of castings from between the 16th and 19th centuries. The base has a flat band, surmounted with a gadrooned, round base with chased flowers, each with a bezel mounted stone, or glass. Freeform "s" scrolls raise a knop, displaying four carved scarab stones. The neck is trumpet shaped with chased work, and attached are four hinged straps, with two purple cabochons and two cut red stones, probably glass. Oval moss agate with wonderful translucence is approx. 2-7/8" x 4". The fitted lid , also chased, has four purple bezel set embellishments and three blue, one of which is in the flower. Hallmarked multiple times, hallmarks include; "AV", "N", "13", "n". Markings indicative of 15th-16th Century as well as 19th Century.

211. A Hand-Wrought Silver Tray
A rectangular silver tray on four bun feet with a scene of a country procession in relief, with hallmarks just below the feet of the central figures, also marked "HH" below the chin of the ram to the left, approx. 6"W x 2-5/8"D x 5/8"H. Weighs approx. 4.7 troy oz. The hallmarks indicate that the piece is Dutch, possibly made by Hendrick Hubert, Groningen, 1774-1811.

212. A Dutch Silver Tobacco Box, Amsterdam ca. 1694
Rare Dutch silver tobacco box. Elongated form box with rounded corners and a hinged lid. Top of the lid features three medallion repousse decorations depicting various scenes with people; meandering flowers and foliage fill the space between the medallions. Sides of the box feature eight portrait medallions. Stippled monogram "JBB" on the bottom. Hallmarked on the bottom with a ca. 1694 Amsterdam hallmark, an unidentified mark and the axe mark, which was used 1853-1927 as a tax mark for old silver items bearing older silver marks, that had come back into circulation. Top margin on the front of the box bears maker's initials "P R" and an unidentified hallmark of a crowned letter "O" within an oval cartouche. Overall this box measures approx. 1-1/4"T x 2"W x 6-1/2"L. Approx. 7.05 troy oz.

A set of Imperial Russian enameled silver spoons in a traditional floral and bird Pan-Slavic pattern in striking enamels on a gilt stippled field. Gilt wash bowls. The twisted handles have two bands of enamel decorations above the bowl, terminating with crown finials. Each spoon is hallmarked "GK" and with a Moscow assayer mark dating the pieces to 1889, assayer possibly Anatoliì Apollonovich Artsibashev. Each spoon measures approx. 5"L. Approx. 4.86 troy oz.
