A rare Chinese Jesuit decorated porcelain jar with a dark brown wood lid and a modern dark stained 3" diameter stand, the sides of the white porcelain decorated in multicolor glazes depicting birds, cherry blossom branches and dragon flies accented by blue, yellow and pink geometric designs and a small amount of gilt detailing. On one side is a red outlined gilt cartouche. The vase alone measures approx. 4-1/2"H to the top of the handle and the body 3-1/2" in diameter at the widest.
