The brush has natural bristles wired into a wood base countersunk into the handle, with a ring for hanging. The tray is marked "sterling 925". The brush is marked "sterling" on an inside edge. The tray measures 8" x 9" x 3/4"D; the brush is 11-1/4"L. The handle of the brush appears to be slightly weighted so the silver content cannot be accurately weighed. The tray weighs 5.3 troy oz.
