A three-piece carving set with steel blade, fork and sharpening wand. Each has a carved bone handle measuring approx. 5-1/2" long. The entire knife measures 15-1/4" long and is marked on the blade "Landers Frary & Clark Aetna Works". The handle of the knife is carved in the form of a bird, a snake and an insect among some foliage. The fork handle is carved with people and flowering trees and the metal is marked "Pat. July 6th 1886", and measures 11-1/2"L overall. The wand handle depicts birds among flowered branches and has no other marks, and measures 13-1/2"L overall.
