A lovely pair of low relief ivory and mother-of pearl inlay on black lacquer plaques. Both plaques feature dynamic arrangements. The first one depicts a man in traditional clothes holding a falcon, children and a lotus blossom are on the foreground. Red tinted inlay signature seal tablet with a Japanese symbol on lower right. The second plaque depicts a man carrying a basket with flowers; the man is surrounded with children, birds and flowers; red tinted signature seal inlay tablet on lower left.
