| 342. A Pair of 18th Century Dutch Commemorative Tobacco Boxes
The first is an all-brass box with the commemorative repousee design with a regent/king portrait and text in Latin on the top lid and a Biblical scene on bottom. Second box is with brass top & bottom and copper sides; the lid depicts a cartouche with a scene titled "Breszlau"; and text in german. The boxes measure approx. 1-1/8" x 1-7/8" x 5-1/2" and 1-1/4" x 1-7/8" x 6-3/8" respectively. 300/500 Sold $287.50 back to catalog |
