A bronze relief plaque, 9-1/8" x 7-1/2", depicting a warrior brandishing a sword and a shield with roiling shapes behind him and two birds in foliage above him. The plaque has small holes for mounting at each corner and has a slender self-frame with the letters "I. SLET SOKOLSKE OBCE AMERICE" in relief on the lower edge. Roughly translated from Slovenian, the phrase says "I. Slet Hawk Road-side The New World".
