327. Champleve Case Clock, ca. 19th Century

A Crystal Regulator by Louis LeRoy, Paris, ca. 1879. Bronze and cloisonne by Barbedienne, with a signed miniature portrait on ivory in the pendulum. This clock features a tubular case with glass sides, two doors, and a gilt brass frame embellished with bands of champleve. Face of clock is surrounded by a band of floral champleve cloisonne with a delicate starbust in center. Signed "Le Roy Paris". Pendulum bears is a hand painted portrait on ivory of young woman and is signed "Lamy". Back has K 6/12, a clock master's mark probably from a repair. Back has "Made in Paris" and model number 24604 11. Measures approx. 12"H x 8"W.
