Wrought silver bowl with flared rim; bears "EOB" monogram in the center; bottom marked with Meriden Brittania Co. hallmark, "1360B" and incised "SRQ 501 62.9"; measures approx. 1-3/4"T x 9"D; Meriden Brittania Co, Meriden, CO 1895-1898, sterling line began in 1895, absorbed into International silver in 1898, but hallmark was used until the 1930's. Wrought silver basket with two separate comartmemts; handle monogrammed "MLN"; bottom marked with Whiting Manufacturing hallmark, and their date mark for year 1915, "sterling 63498"; measures approx. 4"T x 8"L x 5-1/2"W. Whiting company was absorbed into Gorham in 1926. Total weight of the lot approx. 12 troy oz. 100/200 Sold $138.00 back to catalog |
