Wooden sculpture of a Franciscan monk saint. His robe beautifully decorated with gilt pattern over gessoed surface, especially well preserved on the back. Circular compartment on the front for devotional relics. Missing right hand, part of the bible, and left sleeve. Base carved out of the same piece of wood. Overall measures approx. 21-1/2"T.
