793. A Set Of Six Antique Dutch Side Chairs
A set of six antique Dutch marquetry side chairs, ca. 18th Century. Beautifully detailed with marquetry covering the entire back splat, top rail, uprights and front and side rails. The rear legs tapering to a pad foot and the front cabriole legs terminating with a claw and ball foot, approx. 45"H x 18"D x 19-1/2"W. The slip-in seats are shaped in a curvilinear manner and are newly covered in a rich red velvet. The marquetry consists of meandering floral forms, and the back splat depicts a bird sitting in a spray of flowers emanating from a classical urn. Some of the petals of the flowers are bone or ivory.

794. A Pair Of Antique Dutch Side Chairs
An elegant pair of antique Dutch side chairs, ca. 18th Century. The chair back splats, back uprights, front rail and side rails are entirely embellished with marquetry designs consisting of a combination of floral and geometric patterns, with the back splat decorated with a large urn with branching flowers above with a bird seated in the flowers. The center of the front rail also has a motif containing a bird. The front legs are cabriole with a shell motif carved on the knees. The seats are shell-shaped with new red velvet drop-in seats. The front feet are in the form of a modified hoof and the back are pad feet. Overall the chairs measure approx. 40-3/4"H x 22"W x 15"D.

795. An Antique Armoire (British, ca. 1840-50)
A handsome British antique armoire, ca. 1840-50, in rich brown wood with a satiny patina, the door fronts veneered in a beautifully matched burled wood, measuring approx. 83"H x 79"W x 24"D. With three doors covering the three compartments, interior drawers with brass pulls, modern tie-rack inside one door, modern telescoping dress hangers in the side two compartments, the balance of the interiors covered with panels wrapped in wine-color contemporary material. This piece disassembles into 5 parts for transportation.

796. A Pretty Oval Occasional Table With A Marble Top
A pretty oval occasional table, approx. 29-1/2"W x 20-1/2"D x 20-1/4"H, in a warm brown stained inlaid wood with a glossy finish, with a brass rim applied to the top edge and cast brass ornaments on the knee and foot of the legs and a cast brass wreath on each of four sides of the apron. The apron has inlay and edge banding as does the top outer edge. The top is also inset with a nice piece of mutton-fat marble which has some spotty polish residues on it. The marble may have been a later addition as the piece could have been a vitrine at one time with a glass insert.

797. A Lovely Inlaid Tea Table With Brass Details
A lovely oval tea table made in an amber tone wood with the surface embelllished with inlaid wood designs around the apron and around the outer rim of the top. The top also has an applied brass rim at the outer edge and and at the bottom of the apron, and an inset of mutton-fat marble. The tapering legs each have an applied cast brass ornament and terminate in a cast brass ornament with a hoof foot. There are also cast brass handles at the far edges of the top. Overall the table measures approx. 29" x 20" x 22-1/2"H.

A pair of demilune tables in a blond finish over pine, with hand painted meandering foliate designs on the tops, around the apron and down the three tapering legs, approx. 46" x 21-3/4" x 28"H, with a carved rosette applied to the top of the legs (missing one on each table). Each has a hand-hewn apron that has a slightly rippled effect to the surface.

802. A 19th Century Korean Burlwood Cabinet
A very fine Korean cabinet, approx. 46"W x 22"D x 70-3/4"H, made with the framing in a rich reddish rounded wood with burlwood inserts and other woods inset into the panels, with softly oxidized metal hardware, with three sections in the interior corresponding with the sets of double doors, and four small drawers at the top with hinged pulls, set up on a bracket base.
