Artist's name and title lettered on a card in his hand, cellophane taped to the reverse. Also glued to the reverse is a note from the artist that reads "Our wish is that this will remind you of those wonderful happy days spent with us in Cody - May you come often to our wigwam.....Eddie" with a cartoon face below the signature.

A feisty red squirrel on a tree limb regards the tree's other two inhabitants: two birds. The scene is rendered with a palette knife in a vigorous impasto, adding energy to the narrative.

A red pen inscription on the upper left corner of the reverse infers that the painting was done by another, Dora Lynell Wilson, an Australian artist, though the attribution is truly uncertain.
