A lovely pair of chased flatware pieces decorated with applied bronze and copper ornaments. The teaspoon decorated with a couple of cherries, marked "George H. Ford, sterling and other hallmarks", Gorham hallmarks, measures approx. 6"L. The fork's handle is decorated with aquatic creatures, marked on the underside "Howard & Co./ Sterling & other Metals", Gorham hallmarks; side of the handle marked with initials "F.T." within a square cartouche; overall the fork measures approx. 6-3/4"L. Weight approx. 2.7 troy oz.

An American silver plate and glass claret ewer, with a baluster form body in clear glass with wheel-cut stars over most of the surface, with a beaded and carved base with faces and flowers, with a beaded circle at the shoulder that supports the bottom edge of the scrolling handle, and with a fancy 2-1/4"H collar in relief with fruit and lion's faces in relief with surrounding designs and a sparrow-beak spout. The hinged lid has a beaded edge, faces alternating with fruit in relief, and a top handle of a rearing lion holding a shield shape. Overall the ewer measures approx. 12"H x 4-1/2" in diameter at the widest point.

Overall the piece measures approx. 10-1/2"H and the base measures 3-1/4" in diameter at the widest point.

A pretty English desert flatware service, consisting of eighteen three-pronged forks and eighteen desert spoons. Each has a rounded polished mother of pearl handle. Each spoon is stamped "England" on the back of the bowl, and each piece has a run of hallmarks and is stamped "England" on the back of the neck. The forks measure approx. 7-3/8" long and the spoons measure approx. 8" long. The service comes with soft "chamois" cloth covers and two trays.
