A well-cast figurine of Tara, a female Buddha, depicted with traditional manner and attributes. She is seated in a lotus pose, holding a vessel; behind her is an elaborate mandorla designed with a foo dog, birds, and stylized foliage. The sculpture rests on the base designed with openwork figures. Base of this removable sculpture bears an quatrefoil mark. Overall measures approx. 13"T x 6-1/2"W.
