Watercolor on paper, signed in the lower center and dated 1849, image is 10" in diameter, paper is 10-1/8" x 11-5/8", matted and framed under glass, overall size 21-1/2" in diameter. This piece comes from an Ohio estate and is said to be after a painting by J.F. Herring, Snr. This piece has a Christie's sticker inside on the back.
