288. A Two-Light Boudoir Lamp, Continental, ca. 1920's

A delicate two-light boudoir lamp, Continental, ca. 1920's, with a gold metal and painted blue circular base, two candle arms with leaf details, and surmounted by a glazed porcelain figurine of a nude wearing only one gilt shoe. Each candle has an original pull chain that is not active at present. The Art-Deco figurine is glazed in a matte white finish with worn gilt detailing on her circlet and her shoe. She sits on a blue glazed pedestal with gilt outlining. The lamp stands 14-1/4" to the top of the shades, the porcelain figurine measures 5-5/8"H including her pedestal.
